Hi again, I wrote the post below about seven this morning (PDT). Since I am still getting used to the peculiarities of the new block system, when I set it for 16:00 on 24 hour time, it thought I meant 4 AM instead of 4 PM. WordPress posted this three hours before I wrote it. Oops, time travel. My fault. No fault of the system, but now I wonder if it got through, so here it is again. Sorry about that.

This will be short. I may not have a post every Wednesday going forward. (Or I might.)

Since I am not attaching tags, or pretty picture to catch the eye, this will probably only be read by those who get it automatically. That’s the plan, anyway.

The simple fact is that I am swamped with putting together books for self-publication, with prepping one for conventional submission, and I still have an offscreen life.

Putting out posts on a regular schedule amounts to a soft contract with the reader, so I am letting you know — nothing wrong, just swamped. Thanks.
